Pop Rocks

Did you know that you can heat stones in your fire to put in the bottom of your sleeping bag in order to stay warm during the night?

Wrap the warm rocks in a towel and place them at the bottom of your sleeping bag. Be careful not to get them too hot or they could burn you or melt through synthetic materials used in sleeping bags and tents.

Also, make sure not to heat rocks from a stream bed. They could have moisture inside that could cause the stone to explode as it heats.
